About Golden Bells Schools
Our History
Golden Bells Schools was founded by Mrs. Juliet Dadzie-Chima, a passionate educator whose love for children inspired the birth of the institution. What began as a home lesson program to support children within her immediate environment gradually evolved into a full-time school due to its outstanding impact.
On September 4th, 1992, the school officially commenced operations under the name God’s Will Nursery and Primary School, admitting an initial population of 30 pupils. Through dedicated teaching, quality care, and special attention to pupils’ welfare—particularly in feeding and learning materials—parents quickly embraced the school.
Within just two and a half months, the pupil population grew to 90, and by the end of 1993, it had increased to 262 pupils.
Leadership and Growth
The school’s early success was driven by committed educators.
-
Mr. Abowoda (Ghana) served as the pioneer Head Teacher
-
Miss Anna and Mr. Omobowa were pioneer teachers
Their dedication and professionalism attracted families from surrounding communities and laid a strong academic foundation.
In the 1993/1994 session, leadership was handed over to another diligent Ghanaian educator, Mr. Dickson Donkor, who further strengthened the school’s structure and standards.
On January 16th, 1996, the school was officially registered and approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education and renamed Golden Bells Nursery and Primary School.
This growth later gave rise to Golden Bells College, offering Secondary School education and expanding the school’s vision.
